On release day I was snowed in…planned to get the Exclusive but the force was not with me, artic storm + snow in Houston was a no go. Found out stores aold out immediately and I had to regroup. I remembered I had a gc for #barnesandnoble and hoped online to order for store pick up…as soon as it was safe to drive I ran 🏃🏽‍♀️…Now when am I going to start reading it 😂😂😂 I have anxiety I don’t want to mess it up 🤦🏽‍♀️

Okkkkkk I understand desperate times lead to desperate measures but the gold trap is too much! Look at me hating on somebody’s hustle.😬 Chime and Yaslen made a business out of it and was successful. And masked it behind a grown ups club…smart!

I enjoyed learning about Maven and his discovery. He was running from his grief and ran smack into his past…the one that got away. Discovering why she ran was a game changer and the mercy he needed to cope with his losses.

This was a good read, but no emotional attachment. Of the Reign crew Maven’s story was not as captivating as Syre and Bishop.

Experience 🤔 Beau had his life together! He monetized his joint and love for gaming. Then flipped it to multiple streams of income. He sees and pursues Illianna not caring that she has an issue with his age…because that ain’t nothing but a number. His mind, pockets and D is grown! Before she knows it she finds out that Beau is a man…not a son!

Illianna was on my nerves, worried about the wrong thing and settling for less when she knew she wanted him bad! I enjoyed Beaus’ strategy to win her.

The spin on the audacity and jealousy of family was real. The reality check that she had to cash was a great twist.

This was a good story, good heat. It needs some editing, quite a few mistakes.

Summary 📚 IQ is forced to investigate the murder of an arms dealers right hand man because his daughter is the number one suspect…the twist is she is the only eye witness and has multiple personalities.

Experience 🤔 IQ takes me on a ride every time. He goes through too much to solve his cases. He and Dotson were going through it with the women, Sharice and Grace was on my nerves.

TK had a surprising shift and so did Daronda.

In dramatic fashion we reach the end the resolution solved the case and left many worse off…including IQ.

The narrator Zeno Robinson did good but not great like Sullivan Jones.

Rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Trying to move on with her life she finds out about an ultimate betrayal that was trumped by the ultimate deceit. I enjoyed this story. It had me crying right out of the hate! I hurt for Royal!

December 31st @msalexhouse dropped #memphis and I picked it up!!!! 😜

Anything Ms House writes gets my immediate attention. I was impatiently waiting for the drop of this book. All current readings were PAUSED! And honey it was not in vain! I feel like I experienced an episode of a suspence drama. The past and present at the same damn time is always a hit to me. Cause how did Memphis end up hating Bo? Baby we found out!

Memphis’ recruitment into The Agency convinced me she’s been a bad ass! The development of their start and end made it all make sense. The passion that kept their souls tied kept the pages HOT!

The setup for Umbers story was an awesome plot twist and had me excited about the next King sister book!

Side note: I miss Ray and Lilith 😂😂😂 I may have to double back!

December 31st @msalexhouse dropped #memphis and I picked it up!!!! 😜

Anything Ms House writes gets my immediate attention. I was impatiently waiting for the drop of this book. All current readings were PAUSED! And honey it was not in vain! I feel like I experienced an episode of a suspence drama. The past and present at the same damn time is always a hit to me. Cause how did Memphis end up hating Bo? Baby we found out!

Memphis’ recruitment into The Agency convinced me she’s been a bad ass! The development of their start and end made it all make sense. The passion that kept their souls tied kept the pages HOT!

The setup for Umbers story was an awesome plot twist and had me excited about the next King sister book!

Side note: I miss Ray and Lilith 😂😂😂 I may have to double back!
